A Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ) with the Queensland Board of Professional Engineers, Jeremy Cox is a civil engineer with nearly two decades of experience in the civil and environmental fields.
A love for problem-solving led him to his calling, where – working with several small stormwater specialist engineering firms during the first few years of his career – Jeremy learned the fundamentals of his craft, which have served him and his clients extremely well to this day. After a number of years working at AECOM and then BCC, Jeremy launched CWD Group with the desire to deliver high-quality civil and environmental solutions to both the public and private sectors.
Specialising in stormwater, flooding and civil engineering, Jeremy – through CWD Group – provides clear, competent advice for his clients. Jeremy’s personal and professional integrity define him, with a drive for learning and constant improvement that ensures he delivers the highest calibre of work every time.
Tyler Chatfield

Tyler Chatfield enjoys the challenges each new day brings, juggling client needs with the demands of the project, making sure the CWD Group engineers have all the information they need to deliver the best solutions possible.

Lewis Hamilton
Civil Engineer
Starting at CWD Group as a graduate engineer after completing his BEng (Civil), Lewis Hamilton quickly worked his way into a senior role, now actively leading the CWD Group team on most projects.
A specialist in hydrology, hydraulics and ESC, it was the combination of creativity and problem-solving required to work within constraints and overcome limitations that first attracted Lewis to engineering. Seeing the tangible results of a project functioning in the real world is what gets him out of bed each day, with a strong and admirable passion for promoting sustainability.
With extensive knowledge in detailed engineering design, including earthworks, sewer and water design, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, stormwater quantity and quality management systems, project management and more, Lewis has been able to put his skills and experience to good use across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Sina Iva
Civil Engineer
With several generations of civil engineers in her family, Sina Iva never considered a different career path, knowing with certainty that she would enter the ‘family business’ as soon as she left school. Earning a scholarship to study Civil Engineering at the University of Canterbury, Sina graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours), eager to join the workforce and continue her family tradition.
As a valued member of the CWD Group team, Sina understands that no two projects are the same, using her diverse skills and experience to meet the unique challenges she comes across every day in a timely and professional manner.
She relishes the chance to work closely with clients, implementing robust civil engineering solutions for smaller scale residential projects through to larger commercial and industrial developments, making sure she meets all expectations.
Sajeel Cherakadavath
Civil Engineer
Sajeel’s passion for and fascination with the intricacies of civil engineering saw him completing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Kannur University (Kerala, India) and subsequently completing his Master’s in Engineering Science (Civil) from the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba.
Upon completing his MEngSC in 2017, his career launched to new heights with his appointment as civil engineer at CWD Group.
His values underpin everything he does for his clients: honesty, reliability, self-motivation and positivity. He particularly enjoys the work-life balance that CWD offers all its employees.
Sajeel enjoys engaging CWD partners as a reputable consultancy in dealing with the A to Z in civil engineering, including land development.
Outside of working hours he loves spending time outdoors and is a keen cricketer.
Rutvika Kanani
Civil Engineer
Rutvika entered the civil engineering industry by joining the dynamic team at CWD Group. Having completed her Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Master’s of Urban & Environmental Planning, Rutvika applies her specialist skills in hydrology and hydraulics.
After graduating from university, Rutvika worked as a policy research analyst before starting her role as a graduate engineer at CWD Group.
Her active interest in engineering and sustainability led her to follow a path into hydraulics. At CWD Group, Rutvika plays a crucial role in delivering the most sustainable, practical and efficient outcomes for all clients.
Her professional values form the centre of everything she does at CWD Group: reliability, consistency and punctuality.
Rutvika thrives within a high-energy and dynamic team, with no two days being the same. She welcomes a challenge and loves learning new skills.
When she is not at work, you’ll find Rutvika at her local food spots trying out new cuisines, or taking long walks, reading or painting.
