“Jeremy and the team from CWD really supplement our stormwater capabilities,” Chris explains.
“More recently they have also really helped with our civil design capabilities, in particular two-dimensional float modelling.
Jeremy provides a great deal of additional capacity, which is great when we’ve got a lot of projects on the go: he gets up to speed quickly and has proven that he is very capable and can adapt to a lot of different sites.
Regional Queensland is a massive geographical area so for the CWD team to be able to pick up a development manual and know what needs to be done is a real advantage.”

“The working relationship we’ve developed is really good. We have a really great understanding of each other’s expectations and the clients’ expectations,” Chris explains.
“And when someone is on your wavelength, they can anticipate and value-add, rather than just doing what you tell them to do.
Their communication is also excellent. CWD’s reporting and deliverables are right up there: they’re using the latest software and the latest techniques, and they’re practical in their recommendations.
And they’re very outcome driven. They won’t give you an answer that’s not constructive or that is cost prohibitive.”

“CWD are very autonomous: they have the GIS background so you can drop them in the middle of nowhere and they can harvest available data and be giving you really good advice very quickly.
By virtue of the fact that they are so reliable and competent, we are able to save enormous amounts of time and resources.
I can trust that the CWD team is going to get in there and get the job done right, so any jobs I give to CWD, I just know they will get it done in the background without having to check-in.
Jeremy knows the process, he knows the system, he knows what he needs to do, and he has the civil design background, which is very advantageous in a stormwater capacity.
If he’s telling you something’s not going to work or giving you advice, you can pretty well take it to the bank.”
