Overland Flow Assessment - Carina

We have undertaken an overland flow assessment to aid our client in making decisions as to how to develop their site.

The site is in the highly urbanised location of Carina and is subject to overland flow flooding. This was not only about simply defining the overland flow characteristics to inform on constraints but it was about finding and proposing appropriate sustainable solutions as per council guidelines that enhance drainage onsite and for the area.

The proposed solutions included:

Infiltration, detention and self-watering gardens.
