Our role
CWD Group undertook the following scope of works for the project at 88 Bandara Street, Richlands:
- Engineering Code Report & Services Plan
- Develop a concept services plan and an engineering report to address items in the relevant planning scheme and engineering codes
- Report will be suitable for submission to council for development application
- Prepare a preliminary cost estimate (BOQ)
- Make an application to obtain a SAN from QUU providing the feasibility of sewer along the western boundary
- Plans and documentation will be supervised and certified by a suitably qualified RPEQ engineer
- Stormwater – Management Plan
- Undertake hydrologic calculations to determine discharges from the site for the 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 year ARI events for the existing and proposed development scenarios
- Determine lawful point of discharge and conceptual sizing of required stormwater infrastructure
- Undertake conceptual design of proposed stormwater infrastructure, including demonstration of no adverse impacts on stormwater runoff conditions for neighbouring properties due to the proposed developments
- Ensure site meets SPP water quality objects
- Prepare conceptual stormwater drawing suitable for submission to council
- Prepare a report which is undertaken and certified by an RPEQ suitable for submission to council for development approval
- Earthworks – Concept Design
- Prepare conceptual earthworks plan
- Documentation of designs will be supervised certified by an RPEQ engineer
The project
CWD Group presented the client with an engineering report that outlined the feasibility of the various engineering components relevant for the completion of the proposed project. CWD Group’s report found that the proposed development of the site was feasible and appropriate.
